Thoughts and Response
In this part you learn about Max's history and who Max is and how he connects with some of the other, more important characters, at the time. Max seems to be very lonely throughout part four but towards the end he seems to make friends with Liesel. They have a lot in common and that is what brings them close together as friends.
It is easy to see that Rosa and Hans are very conflicted and worried about the situation. Rosa has showed kinder affection towards their new guest and her and Hans begin to have more conversations in the kitchen. They are both very worried about being caught, but they are also worried about money and how they will feed everyone in their family.
I feel that this situation will bring Rosa and Hans closer together and that Liesel begin to spend more time with Max and that their friendship will grow and grow as each day goes by.
